Skin Saviours: Trilogy

A couple of weeks ago I attended the Trilogy launch in Arnotts and met with the creators of the brand.  I was introduced to lots of new products that I was unaware of.  Trilogy is a brand that hails from New Zealand and is certified organic.  The products use natural ingredients and support ethical trade practices.  I was delighted to take home some of thier renowned Rosehip Oil and Rosapene night cream.

The oil is used after cleansing and a little goes a long way so 2 or 3 drops will do the job. Rosehip contains fatty acids that nourish and add moisture to the skin. The product eases redness, brightens the skin, eliminates fine lines and wrinkles and boosts elasticity.  I have quite dry skin and have red patchy scaley bits (I paint a lovely picture) on the sides of my face.  These have always been a problem but certain products tend to ease it.  I was delighted to find that the oil was one of these.  My skin always feels soft, moisturised and soothed after use.  My scaley bits feel better too and my skin looks in better condition.  I use it all over my neck and hands as well as my face a couple of times a week.  I have used both the regular oil and the antioxidant+ which contains tomato extract.  The oil is €19.95.

The night cream came just at the right time as I had run out of mine.  The cream is suitable for all skin types.  It is very thick and rich so it does take a while to dry in but when I wake up my skin feels like it has been freshly moisturised.  There is rosehip oil in the cream and it contains anti-oxidants. Other ingredients include mankua honey and goji berries.  I again use this on my neck and hands.  The cream is living on my bedside locker as I use it every night.  The cream is €32.95.

I’m really happy with both of these products and I’d highly recommend them.
