Ren-der me in Love Part II

It is no secret that I’m a bit of a fiend for Ren.  I love the brand.  It possesses revolutionary technology, contains hyaluronans (little miracles), all of the products are natural and they are not tested on animals.  I’m a huge fan of the miracle shot serum  (read about it here) that was released last year so I was ecstatic when I heard that an eye version was soon to be released.  I’m paranoid about the state of my eyes and dark circles so I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Ren’s new potion.

I attended the launch of the eye shot in House on Leeson Street.  The event was hosted by Rachel Dalton Communications and the lovely Naomi McElroy.  Before I go any further I want to pay tribute to Naomi.  She’s leaving Rachel Dalton and I’m absolutely devastated.  She is one of the nicest people ever and is absolutely amazing at her job.  I know that I’m not alone in the blogging community when I say that Naomi will be missed but we wish her all the luck in the world.

Back to the eye shot.  In short it is fantastic.  The texture is quite creamy and almost has a slight shimmer to it.  When applied under the eye it acts as a camouflage to the dreaded dark circles.  The shot can also be applied to the lids as well as under the eye and I tend to do this at night.  To be honest, I use it all over my face because it is great.  Once it is applied I can feel my skin tighten a little but not in a bad way.  It makes the skin really firm and even  and hides what seems to be the start of eye bags and lines.  I have been using the product for just over a month now and I can definitely see a positive difference.  I have very sensitive skin and I’ve had problems with eye products before but this one is absolutely perfect.  It can also be applied throughout the day and over make-up if needs be.  It instantly brightens the area.  Sure it is taking years off me!

The next product I want to mention is Ren’s anti-wrinkle oil.  The oil contains vitamin A and E, retinoids and Omega 6 and 7.  I’m a big fan of oils.  They are fantastic for increasing moisture and hydration and work wonders on ageing.  The oil is quite potent but not at all harsh on the skin.  It has a bit of an odd scent but nothing overpowering.  I add a couple of drops on my palms and rub them together before applying it to my face.  I tend to pat it on and then lightly push it into my skin always using upward motion.  I have been using the oil for about six weeks and I love it.

I will definitely purchase both of these products again.  They will be part of my miracle potion arsenal.
