Soap and Glory’s Kick Ass Concealer

I have the worst dark circles under my eyes which aren’t helped by my deep set eyes and I’m completely paranoid about them.  I am constantly on the search for the best concealer to camouflage them.  Over the last year I have tried so many but last week I purchased Soap and Glory’s Kick Ass concealer and I’m delighted with the results.

The set contains three components, a pink concealer, a more neutral shade and a translucent setting powder.  It also has a little mirror in the compact.  I’m using the light version.  Pink or peach is great for camouflaging dark circles, particularly on pale skin.  Applying the pink is the first step.  It blends really well without being too wet or slippery.  The pink on its own counteracts the blue / purple of my circles.  I then apply the neutral skin colour to balance out the pink and make the area look more like human skin!  Again it blends very well and a little goes a long way.  Finally the powder sets the concealer and keeps it on all day.  The neutral shade is mainly for blemishes on the rest of the face and it works really well for this purpose, however, I really like using it to blend the pink shade into my skin.

I have quite smudgey wattery eyes so sometimes if my concealer is too wet it will smudge with my liner and mascara and I’ll have dark flecks all over the place.  This doesn’t happen with Kick Ass.  It is perfect.

I love this concealer and I have nothing bad to say about it at all.  It is €13 and is available in most Boots.  This is my new favourite concealer.
